Eligibility
Mid-market rent is aimed at assisting people on low and modest incomes to access affordable rented accommodation – it is important however that prospective tenants are not discriminated against as a result of the source of that income, for example, through a work or state pension or social security contributions. At point of let, the maximum gross household income should not exceed £55,510 which is the current median full time earnings plus part time earnings in Scotland. Flexibility can be applied, for example, where there is a person in the household with a disability and with access to capital or other funds where it would result in a sustainable tenancy. Mid Market Rent receives different subsidy rates to build than Social Rent which therefore have different rent rates. Phases of the Dunbeg development contain more social rent.
The property will be let with a Private Residential Tenancy. Tenants are responsible for Council Tax and all utilities in addition to the rent. Tenants must pay a deposit and the first month’s rent prior to the start date of the tenancy.
Closing Date: 23rd June 2026 at 12 noon
