Be a good neighbour

How you get on with your neighbours can influence how happy you will be in your new home.

We know that instances of anti-social behaviour can sometimes make life difficult for you and your neighbours, and we want to help stop it whenever we can. We take reports of anti-social behaviour seriously and will take the necessary steps to protect you.

What is anti-social behaviour?

Anti-social behaviour can mean many things. It could be noisy neighbours, drug dealing, people drinking on the street, untidy gardens or dog fouling or maybe you are being harassed or discriminated against.

How we deal with anti-social behaviour

We are committed to ensuring that as far as is possible all of our tenants/residents are able to have quiet enjoyment of their homes, without being abused or harassed or subject to noise or other nuisance caused by people living around them.

Where we have the powers to take action we will do so but where problems link to other agencies we will work in partnership to try and resolve the problem.

To achieve that aim we are committed to reducing and tackling anti-social behaviour both by preventative measures and by responding firmly and effectively to complaints of anti-social behaviour.

How to report anti-social behaviour

We need you to report behaviour you deem to be anti-social and in turn we will act as quickly as possible to resolve the problem. You will need to keep a note all incidents of anti-social behaviour as this will help us if any legal action needs to be taken.  You may find it useful to use our record of events form to help you keep track of events.

You can report anti-social behaviour by calling 01631 566 451 or by completing our anti-social behaviour form.
