JOB PURPOSE 
The main purpose of this post is to work within the Finance Team who carry out all the 
finance functions within West Highland Housing Association. To support the Officers by 
carrying out specified finance tasks. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
1. FINANCE 
To carry out a range of activities involving nominal ledger postings, accounts receivable, 
bank reconciliation and petty cash.
2. Purchase Ledger 
To ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments going to suppliers.
3. SUPPLIERS/CONTRACTORS 
To keep the supplier and contractor list up to date.
4. AUDIT 
To assist the auditor by gathering information as required/requested.
5. ANY OTHER DUTIES 
Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by 
management (as duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be 
reviewed).
